Running in Thailand

Like the rest of Southeast Asia, it is hot year-round in Thailand. Even Chiang Mai, in the winter, is still much hotter than is comfortable for me (I like it between 0-10 oC and it was never below about 25 oC in Chiang Mai). Though I didn’t do it, probably the best run is around the Old City (just next to the canals that surround the Old City), which is 1.5 km on each side. Early in the morning there isn’t much traffic but you do have to run on city streets.
